Arts
Igniting your daughter’s interests and creativity through the Arts at Perth College
Music
At Perth College, we strongly believe in the power of music to shape and develop young minds. Our comprehensive musical program allows students in Years 2 to 6 to learn either a string or band instrument and Senior School students who elect music, to extend themselves and pursue excellence under the guidance and support of our specialist tutors and staff.
This provides girls with a wide range of choices to participate in co-curricular performances, helping them build confidence on stage while working with students from other schools and even professional musicians. We also offer specialised workshops to enhance their musical skills and knowledge.
Dance and Drama
Through the world of dance and drama, Perth College girls in both Junior and Senior School can grow in confidence as they develop their universal skills in collaboration, communication and self-expression.
Students are offered several co-curricular dance and drama classes to extend their artistic identity and broaden their sense of community. Girls can take part in our annual Senior and Junior School Musicals, biannual SPIN Dance production, our eP!C Youth Co. drama and dance collectives, as well as feature in various dance and drama productions or showcases.
Additionally, our current industry partnerships with Black Swan State Theatre Company and Awesome Arts Festival provide our girls with annual ambassadorship opportunities and the ability to extend their artistic creations with inspiration and guidance from industry professionals.
