Current Vacancies

Our Boarding House is run by a close-knit team of staff whose aim is to make this term-time home a safe, warm and welcoming environment at all times. We are looking for down-to-earth experienced Senior Boarding staff to ensure that the boarding students’ wellbeing and academic needs are met.

We would welcome applications from Senior Boarding House Supervisor candidates who are looking to build a long-term relationship as part of the School’s Boarding Team to increase our Boarding pool.

This role will involve supporting our students in their transition from home life to boarding life and monitoring their wellbeing and academic progress.

Ideal candidates will have boarding, psychology or social work qualifications or be actively working towards qualifications in these areas. They will also need to have experience fostering professional relationships with teenagers.

They will be expected to actively contribute to the Boarding House senior team planning and assisting in developing proactive, innovative and supportive strategies for boarding students. This includes supporting the Head of Boarding in the operational requirements of running a successful Boarding House. 

Duties will be performed across a seven-day roster, including weekend management responsibilities, which are shared across five Senior Boarding House roles. 

The ability to communicate and connect with our Boarding families and integrate their involvement in the whole “life” of the Boarding House is paramount.

To be successful, you need to be a positive role model who is interested in and committed to working with adolescent girls. Humor and enthusiasm are welcome attributes, and the ability to work as part of a close-knit team would be highly valued.

A willingness to obtain a PTD endorsement driving license and ‘MR’ Bus License would be considered an advantage.

The Perth College Junior School Netball Academy (PCNA) provides our students in Years 2 to 6 the opportunity to participate in a rich netball program where fostering a spirit of teamwork and excellence in our younger netball players is encouraged and celebrated.

Perth College is seeking a dynamic and passionate Junior School PCNA Co-ordinator who is dedicated to fostering a spirit of teamwork and excellence in our younger netball players.

Reporting to the Head of Sport Development and Performance, as the Junior School PCNA Co-ordinator you will play a pivotal role in the co-ordination and development of the School’s Junior School netball program. Working closely with students, coaches and parents to ensure the ongoing growth and evolution of a high-quality, participation rich, netball program for our students in Years 2 to 6.

This position is permanent part-time (0.55 FTE) and will require the flexibility to work the hours required to successfully help deliver the Junior School PCNA Netball program. This includes the ability to support through attendance at scheduled games during the netball season (currently on Thursday and Friday afternoons and Saturday mornings). Training is organised based on two afternoon training sessions each week.

Key deliverables include:
• Manage administrative tasks, scheduling, and planning for the Junior School PCNA Netball program, including coaching sessions.
• Manage the recruitment and onboarding of netball coaches in line with the School’s human resources processes and practices.
• Maintain clear and positive communication with players, parents and coaches at all times.
• Provide administrative and delivery support to the Senior School PCNA Netball Program.

Our ideal candidate will have:
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in the sport and recreation industry in a similar program co-ordination role or related position.
• Current First Aid, CPR, and Anaphylaxis training or willingness to obtain.
• Practical application in computerised systems and databases.
