Camps and Tours
At Perth College, we believe that learning extends far beyond the confines of the classroom
Students in Years 4 to 10 benefit from annual camps varying in stays from one nights to ten. Camps and tours offer invaluable benefits for students. They provide a platform for experiential learning, fostering skills such as teamwork, leadership, collaboration, communication, and resilience in unfamiliar environments; all skills required of the 21st century learner. These experiences also cultivate a deeper understanding and appreciation of diverse cultures, environments, and historical contexts.
Trips and Tours
In 2024, we re-engaged with international tours, including a Humanities and Social Sciences trip to Europe and French and Chinese Study Tours. These tours will complement classroom learning, allowing students to witness firsthand the principles and concepts they have studied in class.
Senior School students also have the opportunity to go on smaller trips within the State and Australia with the school. The Perth College service learning and Cultural Immersion Tour, PC Out Yonder, is an annual tour designed to make a difference in the lives of disadvantaged children in regional WA. Students can immerse themselves in a program where they have a chance to tutor, mentor and empower young learners.
