Perth College encourages families to apply early. Perth College is currently offering places two years in advance for Pre-Kindergarten, and three years in advance for key intake years (Year 4, Year 5 and Year 7). Other year levels are considered based on availability.

In Perth, many independent schools fill key intake years well ahead of time, so the best approach is to apply as soon as you are ready, particularly for Early Years and major transition points (like Year 7).

Students are offered a place based on priority and date order of application. Circumstances where priority is given includes:

  • Siblings that are currently enrolled at Perth College, and
  • Parent/s and grandparents who are former students of Perth College.

WA independent schools typically accept applications year-round, but many key intakes fill well in advance, and some processes (like scholarships) have set closing dates. The practical “deadline” is often when a year level reaches capacity, which is why applying early matters.
