School Council

In support of our Leadership Team, the School Council provides strategic direction for the future of Perth College, and prides itself on being functional, cohesive and passionate about advancing Perth College as a leading school for girls.


Stephanie Fullarton | Chair

Stephanie is a Physiotherapist with 40 years’ experience across government and private not for profit organisations in Australia and the United States. She holds a Bachelor of Applied Science and a Graduate Diploma in Health Science. A Perth College Old Girl, Stephanie served as Head Day Girl in her final year, and is the parent of a 2017 leaver. She has served on the PC Old Girls’ Association committee since 2018 including as President between 2019 and 2025.

Joining the Council in 2023, Stephanie was appointed Chair in March 2026

Stephanie Sims

Stephanie is a Director at a global professional services firm, specialising in Global Expatriate & Employment Taxes. Stephanie has over ten years experience providing remuneration incentive strategies and managing expatriate mobility programs, primarily for clients in the oil and gas services and mining industries.

Stephanie is an old girl of Perth College and joined Perth College Council in May 2025.

Simone Spencer

Simone has a background in shaping and managing strategic policy and reform and has had the benefit of working in a wide variety of fields from economic development, community sector funding and contracting to international engagement. Simone has an honours degree in politics and international relations and is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Currently Deputy Director General, Strategy and International Engagement at the Western Australian Department of Energy and Economic Diversification, Simone and her team provide advice on state development issues and help to both shape and promote investment and trade opportunities. Simone’s team includes the State’s network of 17 international offices who promote Western Australia and its industries across the world. Simone has a daughter in the Senior School.

The Right Reverend David Bassett

Bishop David was made an Assistant Bishop of Perth in February 2024. Previously the Archdeacon assisting the Primate and Archbishop of Adelaide, Bishop David brings experience as a parish priest, school teacher and chaplain as well as significant school board experience having been on the board of three schools and holding the position of Chair for one of those as well as other boards including church, retirement village and national mission societies. Bishop David is husband to Susan, and a proud parent to two married adult children living in Adelaide.

Bishop David joined Council in September 2024.

Anne Ford

A career educator, Anne served in rural, remote and metropolitan Department of Education schools for 23 years prior to her tenure as Principal of John Wollaston Anglican Community School 2001- July 2024. Anne has contributed extensively to the profession at a State and National level including Board member of the Association of Independent Schools of WA (AISWA), Board Director of the Association of Heads of Independent Schools of Australia (AHISA), member of the WA Anglican Schools Association (WAASA) Standing Committee, WA representative on the Management Committee of Anglican Schools Australia (ASA) and member of the School Curriculum and Standards Authority (SCSA) Standards Committee. Anne is a Director of the Parkerville Children and Youth Care Therapeutic Education Services Board. In addition, she mentors school leaders in a variety of roles.

Anne is a Perth Diocesan Trustee.

Yvette Jones

Yvette is a lawyer, nationally accredited mediator and dispute resolution professional who has worked across government, not-for-profit and tertiary education sectors. She possesses a Bachelor of Laws, Bachelor of Arts, Graduate Certificate in Dispute Resolution and Graduate Diploma in Psychology. She is a proud Perth College Old Girl, and was a committee member of the Old Girls’ Association since 2021. Yvette is a parent of a 2025 PC Leaver.

Yvette joined Council in July 2023.

Hamish Milne | Vice Chair

Hamish is a management professional with a long history of working with not for profit organisations, including numerous roles with the Anglican Church Diocese of Perth. He is currently the WA State and Training Operations Manager for The Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. Hamish holds postgraduate degrees in history and business from the University of Sydney, and is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. A parent of two girls in the senior school, Hamish has a strong interest in history, contemporary art, ethics and governance. He has been a lay member of human research ethics committees for over 20 years, and is Chair of the WA Reproductive Technology Council. Hamish was previously the Deputy Chair of St Bartholomew’s House; serving on that Board 2010-24.

Monique Connolly

Monique is CFO of Greatland Resources Limited. Monique is a qualified Chartered Accountant with over 20 years of experience working in both practice and public listed companies and within mineral extractive industries. Monique commenced her career with PricewaterhouseCoopers, working across both Audit and Financial Advisory teams. Monique has held senior finance roles with several listed businesses, including Greatland Resources Limited, ConocoPhillips and Santos Limited, and has a strong focus on governance and driving continuous improvement around financial reporting, systems and processes. Monique is an Old Girl of Perth College and joined the Perth College Council in 2022.

Natalie Busch

Natalie is the Perth Managing Principal of international design firm Hassell. With a background in Architecture, Landscape Architecture and Urban design, her broad experience extends to education, commercial, health and cultural projects. Natalie is future focused, passionate about responding to the needs of the community and ensuring an inspired student experience. She contributes to professional committees and industry bodies including the Property Council of Australia, Committee for Perth, WA State Design Review Panel, Perth Design Week and is a past President of the WA National Association of Women in Construction.

Natalie is also a PC old girl, a boarder who graduated in 1998. Her daughter now is in the Senior School.
